Our beautiful slow stitching design draws inspiration from the delicate antique fabrics that we have found throughout France. Timeless treasures with incredible history, unique designs, exquisite details and that amazing 'timeworn' feel that cannot be replicated in modern fabrics.
We chose to design a pattern for a bag as a practical, useful slow stitching project.
Once completed, your work can proudly accompany you shopping, or perhaps even
to your next stitching workshop.
The design draws inspiration from our love affair with France. Combining some of our
favourite French design elements from the 1800's. We have created a special monogram alphabet specifically for this project based on a 19th century embroidery pattern we found on a buying trip many years ago.
