Beautiful early 19th century wooden 'marriage chest' with fabric covered outer and paper-covered and lined lid. Original brass hinges and handle. Very cute size, great for storing sewing notions or paper ephemera.
Slight marks/discolouration may be present but this is just a fabulous sign of it's treasured of history!
