Antique French Silver Plated Jardinere. Elegant rose design with delicate handles and original zinc tray inside. Stamped inside with "Déposé 454 Orfèvrerie Dilecta". Orfèvrerie Dilecta was a French atelier which began production in the Art Nouveau period, and became especially famous for the creation of Jardinieres/Centerpieces.
This style of jardinere was used to hold small potted flowering plants or ferns indoors. Impressive large size. Circa 1900.
Zinc tray has a small hole.
