Antique French Embroidered Religious Vestement. Beautiful cream silk outer and lining, with linen inner layer for structure. Exquisite hand embroidered details and fringed edging with silver metallic thread. Mended sections on the front and inside lining.
Worn condition, particularly on the front. With missing sections of embroidery, tears and discolouration due to age and use. This has been a treasured but well-worn item.
